Sacred Spaces - 2007

Having worked in a sacred space such as the Forest Hills Cemetery, I decided to create my own sacred structures. I started by photographing large prints of my daughter's eyes floating in various bodies of water. I then made large prints that became the skin of my sacred, totemistic structure. Through this project, sacred space was revealed to me in a new way and I slowly began to define sacred space as a place where one pauses to reflect and ask questions.
