Snow Fence - 2006

I started unraveling snow fences in the landscape, painting them different colors to see if I could get the colors to mix. My fences slowly turned into pathways, pathways that became boundaries and then back into fragile paths. Paths that cannot be stepped on, which meander across the forest floor and take the viewer on a symbolic path of discovery.
